Highlights at Nicasio School
Buddy Event - Wednesday, March 3rd, 1pm-2pm
In celebration of Dr. Seuss's birthday and "Read Across America Week," students will take turns reading a children's book of their choice to their older and younger buddies. Afterwards, students will each illustrate a scene from one of the books to give as a gift to their buddies.
B-I-N-G-O Night - Friday, March 19th, 6pm-8pm
Anyone and everyone welcome! This is a fundraiser for the Nicasio School Parent Club, which supports student activities, teachers and staff. Join us for an all-you-can-eat dinner and B-I-N-G-O with call-outs given by Nicasio's very own Mike Duke! Come prepared for fun prizes and a Chinese auction raffle. $10 per adult; $6 per child.
Variety Show - Thursday, April 1st (evening time still TBD)
Nicasio School's annual Variety Show affords students of all ages the opportunity to highlight and share their special talents, skills and creativity with the community. This year's event is being organized by parent, Elizabeth Evans.
Open House - Friday, April 23rd, 12pm-2pm
Classrooms will be open for visits from famliy, friends and neighbors at Noon until 1pm. Students will serve as tour guides, leading their guests through the various presentations on campus to show off all the hard work of K-8 students and their teachers over the year. At 1pm, guests are invited to join us in the Multi-Purpose Room where K-8 students, led by Music Specialist Ashley Brown, will perform several music pieces.
