Enrollment Process
A child must be a legal resident, living within the boundaries of Nicasio School District, to enroll in Nicasio School. All students enrolling in Nicasio School must provide the following completed documents prior to their first day of attendance:
- Proof of Residency (Refer to: New Student Registration Checklist)
- Annual Declaration of Residency (pdf form)
- Nicasio School Student Registration (pdf form)
Transfer students must also provide:

- Birth Certificate (original or certified copy) or Passport for verification of age.
A child is eligible for public school kindergarten if he/she will be five years old on or before December 2nd of the kindergarten school year.- Health Examiniation Form for School Entry (pdf)

Inter-District Transfer
New Requests
Nicasio School is not accepting new students from outside the district unless the student is a sibling of a currently enrolled student.
Renewals
Students enrolled in Nicasio School based on an inter-district transfer agreement must submit an Inter-District Transfer Request form on an annual basis to request a renewal of their transfer. These requests must be received by Nicasio School no later than June 1st for the following school year. Requests are reviewed and must be approved by the Nicasio School Board.
